An exceptionally luxurious experience in probably the best part of Riga. You could even say that the Grand Poet redefines the meaning of a five-star accommodation. Every last detail, from the room, to the quality of the bed, to the level of Spa and sauna facilities and of course ultimately the professionalism of the staff and their willingness to do the utmost to maximise the customer service, is quite simply unparalleled. I have stayed in quite a few higher level hotels in Riga, but this one beats all by a really wide margin. If the Grand Poet will keep up the quality level of July 2022, I cannot imagine ever staying in another hotel in Riga again.

The receptionists were fantastic, the food and service at the Snob restaurant were exceptional, the rooms were comfortable and nice. The windows are soundproof and one can enjoy high quality sleep even if the room is facing the street.

It was great to find a large variety of different food during the breakfast. The interior design of this hotel is awesome. Our room on the top floor was very quiet. Staff members were helpful. In general, it was really nice place to stay.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was perfect and everything was super clean. The bathtub was big and comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which was very diverse. We stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast was pretty much the same every morning, but there was so many options to choose from, so it didn't get boring. We really enjoyed our stay, would definitely visit again and I'd recommend the hotel for everyone.

Everything to be honest. It was a pretty faultless trip! The room was lovely, we stayed for my partners birthday and I arranged with the hotel some balloons & Prosecco and this was all arranged when we walked into the room, it was such a lovely surprise and they went to so much effort. The room had a lovely park view & was clean and tidy. I loved the bathroom! The staff were amazing, super helpful and attentive. Breakfast was one of the nicest buffet style hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Loads of choice, good veggie options, nice eggs, I also noticed they even catered for GF with their bread options. Prosecco was available every morning too, we didn’t have any but it’s a really nice touch to have on offer especially if you’re celebrating. Location was amazing. The furthest distance we went to was about a 25/30 minute walk, it was super central whilst not being in the hustle and bustle. The spa was extra nice too and a lovely way to spend the afternoon after walking around the city. Clean, tidy and not too busy! We didn’t use the gym but it was well equipped and clean.

Very good location, just across the park where the canal tour starts, and also very close to the old city, the National Museum of Arts, and even the Art Noveau district isn’t far. Everything seems super new here, the room was comfortable and big enough. Very good breakfast. The spa area is pretty good too.
